It may be "just another technical fest" for many, but for the IEEE Student Branch Manipal , "TechWeekend v12.02 " is a vision, a dream . A rebellion against mediocrity and incompetence!
Humans are a very curious species! Man has always desired to change the world around him, to make it a better place for him and his fellow species. Science and technology have always assisted man in this perennial quest for change, intriguing us with its mystical dimensions, boggling our thoughts, confusing us, comforting us. We embrace abstraction to the highest level, leaving the knowledge and practice of Science and Technology to a select few. Each and every person has the ability to radically change and benefit our civilization, but most never have a chance!
At TechWeekend v12.02, we set out to explore these lost lands. TechWeekend aims at pushing the current levels of technical knowhow to excellence in various fields ranging from robotics to simple mechanical challenges and basic sciences which will tickle your grey cells and bring out the best in you. Here's your chance to be the oracle of change!
Techweekend aims to provide a platform to hone and develop your skills, with a variety of workshops and competitions. With about 15 events spread in 5 categories, it's all you need to unleash the innovator, the technological architect in you!
